Tuti, it is good to see a post from you! I think of you often. I consider you to be one of the bravest New Tribers I know of.

Someone shared this quote with me the other day. I really like it and at the same time, I have a ways to go to experience it fully.

Very true.

The fear of speaking out, denies the freedom of the truth being known.
The fear of being disowned or dislike, keeps one from the freedom of being oneself.

For many of us, we grew up with these two fears, because being different was not a reason for celebration but derision. And so clones were turned out, who lack the initiative and courage to be anything else.

Those that dared to break out from had a rough road to freedom, but one that eventually has great rewards.

Been on that road and got there .

Aussie makes a good point for Tuti Hess. The fact that you are standing on your own two feet and thinking on your own could work against you if ntmers catch wind. Your boldness is courageous, yet because I know you and care for you as a friend I pray that you are not degraded or criticized.

Possibly a pen name for future comments? You are in a sticky situation and I pray for God's strength and help and wisdom for you.

My gut feeling says that anyone speaking our from within the ranks of NTM could be in considerable trouble. This certainly was the policy in the past and I doubt it has been changed, just disguised a little better. And shock horror for a woman and/or a person who does not fit the classic NTM mould to speak out, is probably even more of a target and under suspicion.

Tuti has been speaking out here for quite a long time. I'm pretty sure the NTM leadership knows where she stands on this. I doubt her latest comments will add any additional burden to her.

Yes we know Tuti has been speaking out for a long time. I admire Bemused's compassion. Compassion goes a long way in this cynical uncaring world and it's a rare commodity in the world of Tribers.
Under the thin façade of caring, most Tribers that I came across are looking after themselves and we need to be very careful we don't turn out like our parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We wouldn't be in this mess now if most Tribers actually cared, because they would never have let this mess get this bad in the first place. The evil only got to the extent it did because cowards didn't speak out about what they knew and saw going on.
NTM is full of brainwashed cowards and nothing is going to change that unless people start shouting enough is enough and exposing this for what it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a cult that is using good people to cover it's evil. Wake up folks!!!!!!!

And for God's sake, find some compassion for those who do stick their necks out.
